Order Approval and Packaging
After receiving an online order, Universe Marble’s Customer Care team will confirm all purchase details, verify the address, and clarify custom requirements to ensure perfect fulfillment.
Before dispatch, detailed photos of your finished items are shared for approval. Only with your consent does packaging proceed.
Each product is extensively protected using foam, blister wrap, and robust corrugated or wooden boxes. For larger or fragile consignments, all goods are palletized for maximum protection in long transit.
Packaging may require 5–7 working days depending on order size. Once quality checks and documentation are complete, logistics partners such as FedEx or DHL handle your shipment, and tracking numbers are shared via email or SMS.
Delivery Methods and Timelines
Universe Marble offers both air freight and sea freight shipping options, with air preferred for smaller or time-sensitive items (typically 4–7 business days delivery) and sea freight best for heavy or large orders (usually 30–45 days).
Clients may also opt for their own preferred logistics provider with advance notice.
All customs duties, taxes, and port/clearance fees at destination countries are the recipient’s responsibility and billed separately by authorities or logistics providers.
Customs & Import Clearance
Universe Marble provides all legal export documentation, including invoices, fumigation certificates, insurance, and, if shipped by sea, original Bills of Lading.
All customs laws, VAT, and import procedures are governed by the country of import. Delays or charges arising from compliance requirements are beyond Universe Marble’s control.
For sea shipments to the US, Importer Security Filing (ISF) is mandatory, and Universe Marble shares full details for compliance. Late ISF filings may result in statutory penalties for the recipient as per US regulations.
Receiving and Inspecting Shipments
Upon arrival, recipients must inspect packaging for visible damage before accepting delivery, and note any concerns on the courier’s slip.
It is critical to open and inspect items immediately after receiving (do not wait for ceremonial or auspicious occasions). Claims for damage must be filed within 24 hours, accompanied by clear photographs and an unboxing video.
Keep all packing materials and documents for claims or insurance inspection; disposal before assessment may void replacement/refund.
Insurance and Protection
Every shipment is insured for transit damage. If a claim is necessary, Universe Marble will support clients through the process as per insurance and logistics partner protocols.
Refunds or replacements are granted after following all steps and providing necessary documentation in case of loss or damage.
In-Store Pickup (Makrana, Rajasthan)
International clients or their local representatives may choose ‘Store Pickup’ at Makrana, Rajasthan. Once goods leave the facility, Universe Marble’s responsibility ends, and full inspection at handover is recommended.
